The Leopard 43 is based on the award-winning Leopard 42 design, of which over 45 units have been introduced since 2001. New features include a hard-top bimini, a longer transom, fixed stainless steel davits and twin Volvo 29Hp naturally aspirated engines. 4 berths and 4 heads (one head converted to a washing machine + spare freezer), fully equipped galley and expanded saloon with breakfast bar. A clear deck layout, excellent bunk access, walkthrough access from the cockpit to the aft swim platform and a galley-up design are popular features with cruisers. (4 cabins also available. Katara is a pre-2011 Leopard, beloved for their design focus on comfort and performance. We’d hoped to cross the Pacific and outfitted her for such. After 3 years, we are ready to pass her on to new owners. Newer lithium batteries, working fans in every corner, a fully outfitted galley, a washing machine, an extra freezer, extra toys if desired, and many more thoughtful details we added.
