Hull and deck
HULL AND DECK
• Sandwich construction with balsa end grain as core material and laminate made of biaxial and unidirectional glass fabrics
with vinylester resin in the outer layer of the hull – 10 years warranty against osmosis blisters.
• Laminate produced using the SCRIMP process (special resin infusion method), resulting in maximum strength through
65 to 70% glass content in the load-bearing layers.
• Transverse bulkhead laminated in the resin infusion process bonded to the hull and deck.
• All intermediate bulkheads laminated for reinforcement on the hull and deck.
• Particularly strong framework made of floor frames and stringers produced and laminated in the infusion process
including mast support
• Keel with low center of gravity, cast iron fin laminated with lead bulb in fiberglass (2.10 m draft), fin bolted and glued to the
hull, continuous rubber joint for easier disassembly of the keel
• Cream-colored deck with particularly non-slip surface
• White hull, waterline colored in gelcoat
