The Exploration 45 is the reference sailing yacht of the Exploration range from Garcia. The concept was to build a full keel sailboat with an aluminum hull dedicated to long voyages. The Garcia 45 was born from the sailing experience of Jimmy Cornell combined with the Berret-Racoupeau design office. After hundreds of thousands of nautical miles accumulated, Jimmy Cornell wanted to create the perfect boat, capable of taking its crew to the ends of the earth in both icy and tropical conditions. This resulted in the creation of a unique sailboat, the Exploration 45.

Equipped with two rudders, it performs very well at sea and remains easily maneuverable under any conditions. It will allow you to traverse all the seas of the globe. The maneuvers are mainly grouped in the cockpit under the dog house to secure and facilitate adjustments or sail changes while sailing. You can easily move around the deck thanks to the numerous handrails within reach as well as the mast foot balconies. The sail locker separated by a watertight bulkhead at the front allows for easy storage of a complete set of sails. In the saloon, you will find a warm and bright interior.

You will particularly enjoy an incredible panoramic view; it will be entirely possible to enjoy the comfort of the saloon while controlling the boat from the interior watch station.

The owners worked closely with the shipyard, contributing their extensive knowledge and personal experience to create a vessel suited to their cruising plans. They are extremely satisfied with the result. With over 50 years of combined experience in recreational sailing, the owners are open, if it interests the buyer, to share their ideas and arrange a short transition period to ensure a smooth handover.

Nusquama is the 33rd Exploration 45.

This is a comfort version equipped with two cabins with a bathroom featuring a separate shower and a toilet. The forward owner's cabin has its own private bathroom with toilet and shower.

Regarding the sails, it features a performance rigging package with a fully battened mainsail in Hydranet cut Triradial, an Incidence Hydranet solent, and also an Incidence Hydranet staysail.

Notably, it includes: staysail on a furler, gennaker on a sock, and rigging in place for downwind sails + Lazy-Bag and Lazy Jack. A carbon pole completes the rigging.

For maneuvers, 2 ST 45 electric winches and 2 ST 50 electric winches replacing the manual winches will make your life easier.

The boat is equipped with a Highfield Hypalon 290 dinghy with a Tohatsu 6HP engine.

For optimal autonomy, it features a Spectra Catalina 340 desalinator (60L/H), a set of 1125W solar panels, and 2 alternators to charge the 4 Lithium batteries.

For serene navigation, this boat is equipped with a B&G electronic package with 2 12' screens, an AIS transponder, and a B&G HALO 24 radar. A Lithium battery pack including 4 12V 2700W 200Ah batteries completes the ship's more than complete equipment.
