Upgrades/modifications/history

• 2024 Endorsed IRC rating is 1.032 with water ballast, 3 jibs, and 4 spinnakers. There is an opportunity to optimize this significantly downwards with a Secondary Rating without water ballast, 2 jibs, and 3 spinnakers for those who enjoy playing Rating Games.
• STIX Stability No is 38, which easily gets the boat Category A and OSR Cat 1 capabilities.

Construction

• HULL: Infused GRP sandwich with balsa core. Infused structural liner glued into place
• DECK: Infused GRP sandwich with foam core
• BULKHEADS: Infused GRP sandwich moulded companionway, mast, and forward bulkheads

Spars & Rigging

• Axxon H40 Very High Modulus custom Carbon mast – deck stepped, twin adjustable spreaders. This mast is lighter and more adjustable than the standard 3300 carbon mast.
• Rod rigging in lieu of wire
• Axxon carbon boom
• Custom carbon bowsprit made by Andy Barker in Cowes + running rigging for asymmetric & Code sails
• Textile adjustable backstays with fine tune & return to primary winches
• Runner blocks have protective pads and can be held forward in light airs.
• All the running rigging is high-tech dyneema from Kingfisher Ropes custom made for this boat and using Tylaska shackles.
