Description
This Day Sailer designed by New Zealander Paul Whiting is the essence of sailing, it is entirely built from laminated African mahogany in three layers and has more than 10 layers of varnish for protection. There is nothing to be done to it and it is rigged to facilitate its use.
It has a new 10 hp inboard diesel engine installed, which was put in during the boat's commissioning in 2020.
It was built for the owners of the Lagos Shipyard in Bouzas and they owned it until 2020. This same year a complete renovation was done, it is like new.
Main Dacron Horizontal with 4 forced battens, 2 reefing bands, and a free boom cover and lazy bag with aluminum tubes.
Foque II Horizontal Roller, Dacron solar band and zipper Grátil with 3 short vertical battens with a GFL 8 mm anti-torsion Code 0 roller with a storage unit.
4 Andersen winches all stainless steel 18ST 1 Speed.
Aluminum mast with Ronstan series 14 track L=3025 mm black.
4 Spinlock XAS double stoppers.
6 Spinlock XAS SINGLE stoppers.
