Lemsteraak LE 111 fisherman Alderaast
This very exclusive, yet modern fishing boat has a handy size of 12.85 meters. This makes it easy to navigate inland waters, such as those in Friesland. The sailing yacht was developed by Chris Beuker and Martijn van Schaik. Together with the client, they critically examined sailing characteristics, but also certainly ease of operation. There is a roller genoa and a roller jib. Furthermore, the winches are electric and hydraulic. This makes the Alderaarst an easy-sailing ship, even with a small crew.
The interior is surprisingly spacious and bright despite its length of just under 13 meters. There are 6 spacious berths, and the owner's cabin feels pleasant. Additionally, there is a shower and toilet. The well-designed interior has plenty of storage space and almost everywhere has standing height. The galley is equipped with an induction cooktop, so there is no gas on board. The finish inside and out is very well taken care of. The boat is suitable for the entire season due to foam insulation, central heating with a diesel-fired boiler and radiators, and the windows are double-glazed.
Technically, it is an exceptionally well-thought-out barge. There is hybrid propulsion, a hidden spud pole, and the winches are electric, with hydraulic daggerboard winches (as well as autopilot). The spacious cockpit is equipped with a cockpit shower, speakers, and a deck wash pump. Stainless steel is used everywhere (mast base, drainage channels, and other vulnerable parts) so there is hardly any chance of rust formation. There is a jet in the bow and an autoprop propeller, so the boat is not hindered in speed.
