The Pelorus is a unique AN47 sailing yacht, designed by Adolf Martens and built in 2014 with an An hull design (47 feet). This sailor is equipped for both long journeys and comfortable stays on board. The construction is well thought out and durable: a sandwich construction with a 20 mm Airex core, finished with epoxy and high-quality Sterling polyurethane coating – osmotic-free and extremely robust.
Recent improvements & maintenance (2025)
- Antifouling renewed (Hempel Olympic, 2 layers – May 2025)
- Complete engine service performed in June 2025
- Hydraulic backstay tensioner Navtec and renewed impeller (Jabsco)
- Fuel and oil filters replaced (Fleetguard & MANN)
- New anodes installed (ring, ball, and bow thruster)
