Description
MIRPURI is an iconic racing yacht of the Volvo Ocean 65 type, built in 2014 by the prestigious shipyard Green Marine and designed by the renowned Farr Yacht Design firm. A true legend of competitive sailing, MIRPURI is the former Dongfeng Race Team, a spectacular winner of the Volvo Ocean Race 2017-2018, before continuing its victorious career under the colors of the Mirpuri Foundation Racing Team, notably achieving triumph during the Ocean Race Europe 2021.
With its length of 20.40 meters, width of 5.60 meters, and a draft of 4.78 meters, MIRPURI combines power and sailing finesse. It is equipped with a 30.3-meter carbon mast by Southern Spars, a 2.14 m spinnaker pole, and two complete sets of North Sails One Design sails, covering all wind configurations: mainsail, J1, J3, Code 0, gennaker, spinnaker, etc. Its sail area reaches 468 m² upwind and 578 m² downwind, for spectacular performance.
