2013/2014 Fountaine Pajot Hélia 44 - Kermotu
Kermotu is a lovingly maintained Fountaine Pajot Hélia 44, privately owned and cherished by her current French owners. Over the past eight years, she has been the setting for an extraordinary voyage — sailing from the Caribbean, through the Panama Canal, across the Pacific to New Caledonia, and returning to French Polynesia, where she now lies in Raiatea.
Throughout this journey, Kermotu has been continuously upgraded for comfort, safety, and energy independence. Notable enhancements include lithium batteries (2023), 1,300 W of solar power, a Victron inverter, Raymarine autopilot, Garmin chartplotter, a new windlass (2024), and Starlink connectivity. Her layout features four double cabins with ensuite heads, a bright and airy saloon, and a galley-up design perfectly suited to liveaboard cruising.
Kermotu is fully prepared for long-distance passagemaking, with new sails and rigging (2019), twin Volvo 40 hp engines, a watermaker, and comprehensive safety equipment.
