The efficient and simple deck layout enables a crew with little manpower to handle the full potential of the boat effortlessly. Fast and elegant, the Cigale 16 is built 100% in aluminum to ensure its safety, the cockpit has been designed to facilitate maneuvers, especially with an electric winch for the mainsail halyard, and special attention is paid to the protection of the crew.

The quality of its interior equipment guarantees total harmony with its pure lines. Its central salon, very bright thanks to its hatches and portholes, combined with a balanced distribution of cabins and bathrooms, makes it a very pleasant yacht to live on.

Effective, easy, and safe in any circumstance. This Cigale 16 from Alubat is a second-hand yacht from 2007, equipped with a Volvo Penta D2 75 SD engine of 55 HP. With 3 double cabins and 2 bathrooms, it can comfortably accommodate 6 to 10 passengers (the idea is a maximum of 6/7 crew members). On deck, the yacht is equipped with a retractable and removable aluminum bowsprit, a cockpit cover, a bimini, and an electric windlass. The Cigale 16 ‘Sargantal Zulú’ from the Alubat shipyard is a vessel built in aluminum with special reinforcements in its hull, as well as high-strength rigging with oversized measurements. Designed for ocean or offshore crossings with guarantees of navigation in the most adverse conditions.

While not a vessel designed for racing, it can sail happily as a good competition prototype and surf in appropriate conditions. The aluminum construction allows for emergency repairs to the hull with a high likelihood of reaching a good port for repairs. The draft of 2.40 and a staysail allow us to beat to windward with winds of over 30 knots. The beam and wide stern facilitate and accelerate sailing in following winds.

In short, safe and comfortable sailing in all conditions; in fact, the certification allows navigation with waves of up to 7 meters.
