Fisherman Lemsteraak MU1 - Strong Hein

Sleek-lined, sturdy fishing yacht that lives up to its name. Strong Hein was built in 2005 to a design by Hoek Design as part of a series of 9 yachts. This 16.50 m long and 5.30 m wide fishing yacht was launched at SRF in Harlingen. The ship is built for racing and equipped for day trips with guests, but can easily be adapted for family use. Due to its use as a charter ship, Strong Hein has always been very well maintained. The ship is complete and ready to sail, making it particularly suitable as a management ship and charter yacht for day charters (see sterkehein.nl).

With its 16.50 m length, this fishing yacht offers plenty of space. The cockpit has a round seating area behind the steering position and seating at the front of the cockpit. The companionway is centrally located, so the boom does not obstruct easy access midship. The deck layout is tailored for racing, with all trimming options. Complete sail wardrobe, including a gennaker. Beautifully light-colored sail covers. The mast and round timber are made of Origon pine, and the centerboards are made of Billinga hardwood. For propulsion, an Iveco 120 hp diesel engine is installed, with a Hurth gearbox and 3-blade Maxprop. Electrical system in 24 V DC and 230 V AC. Central heating with radiators throughout the ship.

The interior is traditionally designed, as befits a fishing yacht. Space for 4 plus 3 fixed sleeping places, three cabins, a well-positioned galley, and plenty of storage space. Headroom is more than sufficient, with daylight coming through skylights. The interior can be adapted to the wishes of the new owner, for example, for more recreational use or for long journeys. This strikingly sturdy fishing yacht is a special ship. Very suitable for racing, but also for long trips on open water.

Companies wishing to use the ship as a management vessel for relationship marketing and day charters are invited to come and see it. VAT deductible.

A private owner without plans for chartering is also warmly invited; a plan for adapting the interior to make the yacht suitable as a family ship is being developed.
