Description
2005 J/100 - Blue Jay
J Boat owners know the J/100 with little more explanation, Blue Jay is an excellent example of a two owner, well maintained, fully equipped, and lightly used J/100. She was just cleaned up and decommissioned for the winter at the end of October. Due to changes at the marina, she cannot be recommissioned and splashed in the current location.
But she is still available for showing with prior arrangements. Call for more details and location.

Owner's comments:
The original Flag Blue hull gelcoat on Blue Jay is clear and shiny. The varnished toe rails are smooth and glossy. The stainless-steel shines and is free of corrosion. The Black X Tech jib and main are two years old. Other sails have been stored indoors in their sail bags. All the lines are high-tech with multiple sets of backup lines. The boat has always been stored inside on her trailer during the winter months and sailed only in freshwater during the summer months. She has been owned and sailed by two life-long sailors and only used for afternoon leisurely sailing, and not raced, since I purchased her in 2018. Blue Jay is getting to be too much for me to handle and the marina is no longer providing full services for sailors. I am very sad but know it will go to a special new owner!
Accommodations
The interior is bright white with teak trim. There are two comfortable settee berths and the optional V-berth forward. All have Sunbrella blue cushions and mattress.
Midship there is the head with a molded sink with overboard drain in head and a Marine head with 14 gal holding tank and "Y" valve. The holding tank overboard discharge manual pump.
For comfort there is a solar-powered fan in companionway closure and for a hot meal or drink there is a single propane burner on the bulkhead.
