Description
We are pleased to invite you on a comprehensive tour of both the deck and interior, allowing you to fully appreciate the meticulously designed features that provide exceptional comfort and superior performance.
As you step onto the boat, you are greeted by a spacious swim platform with an integrated swim ladder, allowing easy access to the water. There is a hot/cold shower and the 220 VAC shore power inlet on the starboard side at the transom.
Upon boarding the deck, you immediately notice the roomy cockpit. This area offers ample space for the crew and guests, featuring four winches, one of which is electrically operated, strategically placed at the corners for efficient sail handling. The mainsail boom is positioned high to provide extra head clearance, ensuring a safe sailing experience for the crew. The teak cockpit table is foldable and equipped with cup holders and storage compartments for added convenience.
The teak side decks are wide enough for safe passage forward, although the raised deck saloon design results in slightly narrower pathways than some other models. Handrails, sturdy stanchions, and lifelines increase safety while underway.
Descending the companionway steps, you enter the spacious salon. The raised deck saloon design ensures high ceilings and large windows, offering panoramic views. The salon is bright and airy, with comfortable seating areas ideal for relaxation or socialising. The galley is fully equipped for meal preparation on long voyages and includes two refrigerators and a seawater tap. The navigation station is comfortably arranged opposite the seating area and is well furnished.
SY Aegeis is a modern sailing yacht featuring a spacious and comfortable 2-cabin layout, ideal for cruising. Inside, the two cabins provide ample sleeping and resting space for the owner and guests. The forward cabin is large and includes a private en-suite bathroom. The aft cabin, which serves as the owner's cabin, is spacious, bright, and airy, and it shares a sizable en-suite bathroom with a shower. The aft cabin is also convertible-ready into two cabins. The hull is reinforced with Kevlar for durability and stability. Modern sailing equipment includes an in-mast furling mainsail and a furling genoa. The electric winch makes raising and lowering the mainsail very easy. The owner has also included a lightly used storm sail. Measuring approximately 43 feet in length overall, SY Aegeis strikes a balance between performance and comfort with its modern deck saloon design, featuring panoramic windows. Its solid construction and comfortable layout make it well-suited for family cruising or entertaining guests.
Additional features include solar panels, a washing machine, a stainless steel chain, a stainless steel anchor, and a bow passerelle, all of which enhance onboard comfort and autonomy. The Volvo Penta MD 22P diesel engine produces 58 HP and has only 2,506 operating hours. The boat is also equipped with a Sidepower bow thruster that facilitates easy manoeuvring in tight marinas.
SY Aegeis is for sale by the first owner. It has been privately used since 2002 and has never been chartered. Despite its age, it has been very well maintained. The boat will be hauled out in Oren, Muğla, Turkey, on October 18th, 2025, and will remain on the hard during the winter season.
Potential buyers will have the opportunity to inspect the boat’s hull and overall condition on land, including a review of the owner's handwritten logbook. Viewing appointments are required, and interested parties are kindly requested to book at least three days in advance.
