The Grand Soleil 70 “Sinfonie Sylt” is an exceptional example of Italian yacht building – a masterpiece from the renowned Cantiere del Pardo shipyard in collaboration with the Felci Yacht Design studio. It was launched in 2001 and underwent extensive refitting in 2011 at Knierim Yachtbau in Kiel.

Sailing performance and handling

The aluminum rig with three pairs of spreaders, a retractable bow thruster, electric winches, furling system, and modern navigation electronics with autopilot enable comfortable sailing – even with a small crew or just two people.

Design and construction

The hull and deck are made of high-quality Kevlar sandwich construction with epoxy resin and PVC core, manufactured using a vacuum process. The result is a lightweight, rigid, and robust structure. Clean lines, a flat deck with recessed hatches, and a spacious cockpit offer safety and freedom of movement on deck.

Interior and comfort

The interior, finished in fine teak, showcases classic craftsmanship and Mediterranean design.

The owner's cabin in the bow offers plenty of storage space, a separate work area, and a shower and toilet. The deck saloon with panoramic windows creates a bright, open atmosphere. The galley, spacious saloon with U-shaped bench seat, sideboard, and four electric toilets with holding tanks testify to the high standard of comfort.

A double-insulated technical room houses the main engine, generator, pumps, and storage space for tools – perfectly accessible and professionally installed.

Refit and condition

The yacht was extensively refitted in 2011 at Knierim Yachtbau in Kiel. The technology, interior, and equipment were modernized. The exterior paintwork will be renewed in 2025, so it is currently in good condition – both technically and visually up to date.
