Layout and accommodation

This Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 42.2 offers an extraordinarily spacious and well-ventilated interior, designed for comfort both during long cruising and life on board. With four dedicated cabins, the yacht can comfortably accommodate up to eight people, making it an ideal vessel for families or group sailing adventures.

At the bow, a large V-berth cabin features generous wardrobes and shelves. A second cabin forward to starboard includes a double berth, offering flexible accommodation for guests or children.

The main salon is open and spacious, equipped with an L-shaped sofa surrounding a central dining table that seats the entire crew. The seating area can convert into an additional berth if needed. Plenty of natural light enters through numerous hatches and fixed ports, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere throughout the interior.

The two symmetrical aft cabins offer a double berth with headroom, wardrobes, and portholes that open to illuminate and ventilate. These aft cabins provide privacy and tranquility, separated from the salon area.

This vessel is equipped with two manual heads with showers, one located forward of the port aft cabin and another aft of the forward cabins. Both heads include marine toilets, sinks, and integrated showers.

The galley is located amidships to port and features a practical linear layout. It includes a two-burner stove, a spacious top-loading refrigerator, and a double stainless steel sink. An additional faucet supplies seawater, while a separate filtered freshwater faucet allows drinking directly from the onboard water tanks, enhancing the yacht's self-sufficiency.

Aft of the galley is a full-size navigation station, with ample space for paper charts, navigation instruments, and communication equipment. Overall, the thoughtful layout and robust design ensure comfortable living conditions both at sea and at anchor.
