Description
This Grand Soleil 46.3 from 1998, one owner, consists of three double cabins and two bathrooms.
Refit 2021:
- Rigging
- Through-hulls and sea discharges
- Rudder bush
- Bow cabin with double bed, storage space, and separate bathroom
- Salon with fully functional galley to port, consisting of a 3-burner gas stove with oven, 12V refrigerator, double stainless steel sink with hot/cold water mixer. The dining area table is made of solid wood served by a comfortable U-shaped sofa and a two-seat bench.
A comfortable position for the owner completes the area, with a chart table and 12V utility panel.
- Bathroom with separate shower stall on the left
- 2 aft cabins with double berths and storage space
The boat is equipped with a Yanmar 4JH2CE inboard engine with 62 HP.
The electrical system of the Grand Soleil 46.3 consists of two separate networks powered at 12V and 220V respectively.
The general controls and those of the individual utilities, both at 12V and 220V, are grouped in the two Utility Panels, above the chart table on the right.
The 12V network is supplied by four batteries housed in two dedicated compartments located under the berths of the starboard and port aft cabins.
A three-position battery switch located under the chart table on the right activates the service batteries in position "1", the parallel between the service batteries and the engine battery in position "BOTH", or just the engine battery.
Some onboard services are activated directly from the switches of the Utility Panel; others, however, must be activated from the respective switch generally located near the utility.
The batteries are recharged by the 12V alternator connected to the engine or by the battery charger connected to the 220V network.
The Grand Soleil 46.3 is the result of a careful selection of systems and equipment that the Cantiere del Pardo deemed most suitable to collectively create a product that was at the forefront of the sector.
Vessel designed by J&J Design to be welcoming and safe even for long-distance voyages, where wind strength can exceed eight (Beaufort scale) and significant wave height exceeds four meters.
In 1996, the Jacopin brothers signed the Grand Soleil 46.3, the starting project of a new and fruitful collaboration between the shipyard and the J&J studio. The boat is modern and elegant, the coachroof is clean, well embedded in the flush deck. The water lines are powerful and sleek, giving rise to a very valid performance-cruiser.
