This is F-28R Hull #57
The Corsair 28R is an outstanding one-design racer, day-sailer or camping cruiser. Extremely easy to setup, launch and retrieve, this is the ultimate trailerable sailboat.
This boat has been stripped for racing, and has been on the podium in many New England Multihull Association events over the years. The interior Front Runner carpet (aka “mouse fur”) has been removed and the interior painted white. [Note - I don't think this improved the performance but it did please the owner.] The cushions were removed years ago and are not included. The interior includes a sink.
The Omohundro carbon fiber rotating mast has been converted from a luff groove for a mainsail bolt rope to a Harken 20mm A Track with Harken Battcars. All battcar connections have quick-release pins. 2023 Colligo dyneema shrouds. Positive mast rotation controls.

• Custom carbon fiber boom, from Competition Composites, Inc., Canada.
• Carbon fiber daggerboard, also from CCI with complete (repaired) spare.
• Carbon tiller and Carbon forward tiller-steering station from CCI.

• Custom sliding companionway hatch (instead of the standard pop-top).

• For cruising or overnight races, just bring along a stove, jugs of water and a plastic dishpan for washing up. Of course, a permanent stove and water tank could be installed if desired.
