Description
The Corsair F-24 MK II is an affordable, versatile, and easy-to-handle performance multihull. As many multihull enthusiast know, Ian Farrier revolutionized the sailing world with the F-27 in the mid 1980's, then again with the F-24MKI, and when the F-24MKII was released, the brand really started to separate themselves. With an empty weight of just 1,800 lbs, she can be trailered with minimal effort and achieve speeds up to 20knots or more. The F-24MK II is well suited for buoy racing, day sailing, and weekend family camping. Shallow-water anchoring—dropping the hook in just a foot of water after a great day on the sail—is exactly what this boat was designed for.
This particular Corsair F-24 MK II is fully equipped and ready to sail tomorrow. The boat spent several years sailing around the Miami area and the past couple of years on Mobile Bay. All owners are knowledgeable and capable sailors.
The previous owners and current owner have equipped the boat with some nice upgrades that elevate the boat from base value including a Simrad TillerPilot, furlers for the jib and screacher, a new headstay, a recent thorough washing/cleaning, and some handy block/tackle. Please refer to the complete inventory list below for detailed specifications.
