Description
Sajano One-Off ULDB 50 feet mahogany and teak by Morri & Para shipyard, designed by M. Roberti who in 1985 designed the family boat (first and only owner) a 15.75 meter laminated okoume mahogany crossed and west-system resin, racing lines with a width of 3.62 m. like his other projects and teak deck and elegant and refined interiors for cruising with 9 berths. In 2024 the refit was carried out by the Carlini shipyard in Rimini, builder of other of his projects.
External Description: from the stern Spoiler with platform and steps, central cockpit with two hatches and all maneuvers led around the steering wheel, fractional cutter sail plan with furling trinca and yankee and asymmetric with sock, mainsail with a traveler at the stern and 6 dedicated Lewmar winches in ideal position for easy sailing and reduced crew. At the bow, separate sailor's cabin and sail locker. The hatches and portholes ensure excellent light.
Internal Description: descending from the stern hatch we find a large cabin with double and single bed with bathroom. Another king size in the corridor leading to the dinette connected to the cockpit with a second entrance. L-shaped kitchen on the left with another single cabin now pantry opposite the chart table, C-shaped sofa with table for 12 people, opposite to the wall sofa/berth, second bathroom and bow cabin with double bed and single bed. The boat is equipped with a Yanmar 75 hp for a cruising speed under motor of 7.5 knots and a watermaker.
Sajano is a unique boat, the owner-designer and sailor like the current owner son, have created with the Morri & Para shipyard ("the Luthier" for A. Vallicelli and other famous designers Sparkman & Stephen, Sciomachen, P. Cori) a wooden boat with ordinary maintenance (west-system laminated hull), racing performance and interior spaces for long cruises, the Carlini shipyard has taken care of the 2024 refitting and updating of the sailing equipment. The boat is stored indoors and dismasted every year.
