Description
This Express 30 is a Canadian-designed performance-oriented racer/cruiser sailboat from 1983.
An oldie but a goodie, she is seaworthy and has always been in freshwater.
Named Penny Express, the boat is known for its speed, stiffness, and comfortable teak interior, featuring a tall mast, fin keel, spade rudder, and flexible layouts for day sailing, club racing, and coastal cruising. She has been raced with Racine Yacht club and has performed well. 8 sails come with the sale, please request list of full sail inventory.
The boat's deep fin keel and spade rudder for stability and performance, with a flaring bow and flatter bilge heps keep her steady through the waves.
Interior: Functional, uncluttered design with oiled teak, offering comfortable berths, galley, and head. No creature comforts, but they can be added.
Performance: Considered a fast boat for its era, capable of competitive club racing and good cruising.
Original Meissner winches, Autopilot, depth sounder, VHF on board and a canvas winter cover included. Original Cradle included as well.
