Description
The First 28 is a cruising/racing sailboat ideal for family trips (up to 6 people) and regattas. Very easy to handle, it offers fun sailing both on a close reach and with downwind winds, even with little wind. All the working rigging is led back to the cockpit, allowing for comfortable solo sailing.
Sails: mainsail, 120 genoa with roller furler, and spinnaker with pole, which provides good performance even with little wind.
It is a noble and sturdy boat that has seen significant investment in recent years, especially in safety. An excellent opportunity to acquire a fast and safe boat at a very good price and gradually improve it with work and dedication.
Accommodation
Double bow cabin. Two bunks in the living room, one of them double. Single stern cabin. In total, accommodation space for six people.
Electric marine toilet
Spacious living room with folding table, kitchen, and card table. Ample storage space in the bow cabin, living room, kitchen, and stern cabin. Newly replaced adjustable LED interior lights.
Mechanical equipment
Yanmar YSM8 18hp engine with minimal consumption. Recently serviced at 100%, replacing the exhaust pipe and elbow, as well as the starter motor.
Kitchen equipment
Gas stove in operation with two burners and an oven. Refrigerator and cleaning sink with pedal tap.
Equipment of the hull and the deck
Rigging recently inspected with a change of the bow stay.
