Pegaso is a stunning example of the renowned Chance 37, designed by Britton Chance, the celebrated America’s Cup designer. Built in 1973 in France, this was one of the very first Chance 37s produced - part of a hugely successful run of 95 hulls. Now, following an extensive £170,000 professional refit, Pegaso offers the rare opportunity to own a truly exceptional classic yacht that blends timeless lines with modern performance and equipment.

History & Provenance

Originally exported to Italy and berthed in Trieste, Pegaso remained with her original owner until his passing. She was then stored ashore for several years before being acquired in 2022 by her current owner - an experienced sailor with a deep appreciation for classic yachts, having previously owned a Swan 44 of similar vintage.

Delivered to Poole, UK by Peters & May in July 2022, all import duties and HMRC charges were paid. Over the following three years, she underwent a comprehensive and meticulous refit by skilled traditional shipwrights and marine specialists.
