Description
This beautiful, strong, offshore-oriented cruiser has been in the same family for over 30 years. It's had many upgrades over the years, including a rebuilt engine with under 600 hrs.
The centre cockpit motorsailer is a perfect Northwest cruiser. Lots of protection from the elements and all the accessories you need for comfortable cruising. Although considered a motorsailer, the Salar is designed for passagmaking, and it sails very well.
The large covered cockpit has expansive windows allowing great visibility and is a comfortable place to keep out of the rain, wind or sun. The windows allow for clear views and have proper windshield wipers for good visibility even in the rain.
There are two separate cabins. The stern cabin, accessed from the centre cockpit, has a huge bunk with plenty of storage for clothing and gear. The forward cabin has a classic layout with a large V-berth forward, followed by a head to port and hanging locker starboard. The dinette is central to port with comfortable seating and an expansive galley to starboard.
Designed by Laurent Giles and built by A.H. Moody and Sons, this is a solidly built offshore cruiser known for its bullet-proof construction, well-balanced sail plan, functional layout and classic lines.
This boat can come with assumable moorage in Ladysmith with management approval.
