Description
Beautiful Lemsteraak, very well cared for and well maintained
Lemsteraak Saeftinghe
A special and authentic roefaak by A. de Boer from 1930, converted into a yacht in 1965. Since then, it has been very well and professionally maintained, with thoughtful improvements made annually. Excellent as a spacious family ship with no less than 5 separate cabins with 10 fixed sleeping places and 220 cm headroom. Moreover, an excellent sailor!
The steel-hulled ship measures 15.30 x 4.65 m, with a draft of 110 cm and a clearance height of 22 m. The round-bilged ship displaces 29 tons, steering with a wheel (cable transmission). Propulsion with Daf 575 six-cylinder diesel, indirect cooling. Hurth reversing gearbox. Overhauled. Engine hours 2800. Electric bow thruster (2019). Electrical system 24V/230VAC. Steering position with Observator liquid compass in a brass housing. Teak benches and block grates. Engine room under the cockpit floor. 3x skylight. Rich finish with wood carvings. Everything in very good condition.
Impressive interior finished with mahogany and oak floorboards. Very spacious, classic, and stylish. Salon with U-shaped sofa on port side, dinette on starboard, navigation corner, and U-shaped galley. Separate toilet and shower room. 4-burner stove, oven, refrigerator, hot and cold running water, hot air heating.
Lemsteraak Saeftinghe is a unique, sailing monument. Fully ready to sail. The list of recent renovations is endless. The ship has been maintained with a lot of love. The owner is parting with it with a heavy heart.
This Lemsteraak in yacht configuration is suitable for rental with and without a skipper. Due to the 5 separate cabins, it is ideal for chartering with a larger group. Rental income is more than sufficient to cover annual maintenance, service, mooring, etc. VAT paid, therefore also suitable for business use. Viewing by appointment.
