Wednesday on the Water: Sally Christine
Can you fall in love with a boat you've only seen in photos?
I have to admit, I've never set foot on this boat. But I wish I could play hooky on her, today. When we received a story from Neil Rabinowitz about this commuter, named Sally Christine and designed by Sam Devlin for West Marine founder Randy Repass and his wife (also Sally Christine), I lingered over the images. I wanted to jump inside and go for a ride.
Maybe it's just Neil's sharp photos, or the beautiful background of British Columbia. Or maybe it's the sweet lines of the boat herself. But combining performance and tradition with a dry quick ride across open water sounds like a great way to spend a Wednesday afternoon.

If you agree, click through and see the rest of the photos of Sally Christine on YachtWorld. You can also download the YachtWorld iPad app, which includes the same story with a bit more detail.
Enjoy, but be forewarned: you may spend the rest of your Wednesday drooling over this boat.
