img7545The popular Clamcleat CL244 Boom Cleat and Clamp has been updated. The
all-new alloy cleat makes it even easier to adjust your outhaul while
sailing to maintain the ideal sail shape.

The revised CL244 has a becket for tying-off the end of the control line.
This is more positive, uses less line and is easier to rig. The cleat also
has a lower, more streamlined profile which reduces its weight and lets it
blend into the boom better so that it is less likely to get in the way of
sailors' hands.

The cleat, which is made from aluminium for high strength and durability, is
supplied complete and ready to fit all sizes of windsurfer booms.

Visitors to Clamcleats Limited's website can see detailed information and
illustrations of how to rig an outhaul system using the CL244 at
www.clamcleat-rope.cleats.com/windsurf.htm There is a list of recommended
fittings that will be needed and, by clicking on the drawings, you can see
larger versions which can be printed out. In this form they are ideal to
take with you when shopping for the parts that you need, and to have to hand
when rigging the system.
