Jeanneau Velasco 43F flybridge cruiser

The Jeanneau Velasco 43F is a new model in Jeanneau's powerboat lineup that is based on the venerable Velasco 43. The differences between the two models are significant, but subtle. For starters, instead of a radar mast, this boat has a low-profile arch situated aft on the flybridge. Additionally, the 43F's lines are softer, which we think gives this boat a dynamic look.

Below, we liked the side-deck access door next to the lower helm station, and the location of the galley up on the main deck. That said, we found ourselves wishing Jeanneau would have taken better advantage of the space savings from the inboard/outboard drives, which replace the shaft drives present in the 43. All in all, however, we found the 43F to be better-looking and better-featured than the model it replaces.
