The American Tug 362 is a best-in-class two-cabin trawler built to handle unpredictable waters with comfort and ease. Based on our AT 365 deck and hull, the 362 draws upon its commercial fishing heritage to deliver excellent seakeeping performance whether you’re touring the Great Lakes, cruising the Eastern Seaboard, tackling the Great Loop, or cruising the Bahamas.
Designed to offer comfortable touring for more than one couple, the 362 features a two-stateroom, single head layout which, together with the convertible settee in the salon, provides sleeping accommodations for up to six people. The 362 pilothouse has been redesigned to feature an LLEBROC helm chair and comfortable seating for two to port. The salon features an L-shaped galley with solid surface countertops, dual sinks, and plenty of storage offset by an L-shaped settee to starboard with generous amounts of seating.
Standard equipment includes a Northern Lights 6kw generator, Side-Power bow and stern thrusters, Victron inverter/charger, solar panel, full aft overhang, stern davit, a 320hp Volvo D-4 engine, air conditioning with reverse cycle heat, propane stove and oven, dual Racor filters, an oil change system, sapele and maple sole in the salon/galley, cockpit shower (hot and cold), and a 4 hook line holder.

Accomodations
The American Tug 362 has a two-cabin & one-head arrangement. The convertible dinette in the salon makes into a third nicely sized double bed, the AT-362 sleeps six and is perfect for families, grand-kids, and fishing friends.
The salon/galley floor is an in-house-made Sapele and Maple; the pilothouse and accommodation floors are molded fiberglass, and fitted carpets are included.
Cabinetry is our traditional American Tug quality full-face framed wood joinery in a shaker style.
As you enter the salon from the aft cockpit, the galley is on port and the settee is on the starboard side. The galley is an "L" shape with plenty of counter space. A three-burner stainless Force-Ten LPG stove and oven is included. A stainless steel sink with pressure hot/cold water is mounted in the solid surface countertop.
The settee is generously sized and converts to a nice, large double berth. The table can fold for additional space.
Up three steps and you are in the raised pilothouse with full 360-degree visibility. There are port & starboard sliding doors. On port is the co-pilot station with storage and seating for two. On the starboard side is the LleBroc pedestal helm chair for the pilot. The nice electronics console accommodates dual Garmin 8612 multi-function displays.
Down three steps and you are in the cabin area. Forward is the master cabin with a center-line queen berth. There is storage under the berth. Hanging lockers on both sides of the cabin are built in our shaker-style wood joinery.
The guest stateroom is on the port side of the forward companionway. There is a nice standing area with a hanging locker outboard. The double berth is aft and located under the pilothouse. The generous double berth is 76" long and 48" wide with plenty of room above. A portlight will bring in fresh air and light. This stateroom is sized for a couple to be comfortable, and similar in size to the aft master stateroom found on a 40-foot sailboat.
The head with a large stall shower is on starboard and opposite the guest stateroom. An electric head in the corner, a vanity cabinet outboard with sink. Stall shower in the starboard forward corner. The shower is made of fiberglass with an acrylic door for easy care.
