Description
The Gran Turismo 50 is presented as the "flagship" model of the new generation "Crossover Express Cruiser" from Beneteau.
The design was entrusted to Dixon Yacht Design for the hull, and to Andreani Design for the overall design.
A "Limited Edition Alpine" version exists, with specific hull and finishes, offering a more pronounced aesthetic (exclusive shades, design details).
Engines: twin inboard engines — Volvo Penta with IPS transmission
Hull: planing hull equipped with the patented Air Step® 2 technology, developed in collaboration with Volvo, to combine speed, seaworthiness, and comfort.
Steering: Volvo joystick for easier maneuvers, autopilot, power steering — all aimed at smooth and intuitive navigation.
Cruising speed & comfort: the combination of planing hull + IPS + ergonomics allows for responsive, comfortable, and stable navigation — suitable for both fast cruising and relaxation.
Main deck "full-space": the cockpit extends into a large protected lounge, with total opening to the outside, erasing the interior/exterior separation.
Deck kitchen (outdoor galley) under the hard-top, which can be complemented at the back by a worktop and a grill — practical for living outside.
At the front: large sunbathing area (sun-lounge) spacious with a reclining backrest.
Tender garage: compatible with a rigid inflatable tender up to 2.90 m (e.g. Williams Minijet 280), accessible via a large submerged bathing platform — ideal for jet-ski or tender.
Hydraulic submerged bathing platform: for launching/retrieving the tender or water sports equipment.
Several possible configurations — generally 2 cabins + cozy salon, or 3 cabins.
Owner's suite "full beam": large main cabin, bright, with private bathroom and dressing room layout.
VIP/guest cabins: often "V-berths" or "folding beds", sea view, adjoining bathroom.
Interior kitchen (galley) in "L" shape with Corian® worktop, plenty of storage, refrigerator-freezer, ceramic hob, microwave/grill, etc.
Cozy living space: secondary indoor lounge (cozy lounge) opposite the kitchen, plenty of storage, bright atmosphere thanks to large portholes and skylights.
High-end finishes: walnut woodwork, soft-touch synthetic leather coverings, noble materials, decorative details — the interior aims for the comfort and elegance of a true yacht.
Centralized management system: Ship Control — allows control via the helm or a Wi-Fi connected tablet: gauges, lighting, navigation, air conditioning, hi-fi, etc. Everything is accessible with a simple gesture.
Modular comfort: options such as air conditioning, heating, electric sunroof, electric side windows, outdoor protections (bimini, hard-top) depending on the program.
Versatility of use: this boat combines the qualities of a fast cruiser for coastal/ocean navigation, with the comfort of a yacht for long cruises or stays onboard.
The Gran Turismo 50 is aimed at:
High-end leisure sailing enthusiasts, looking for a compromise between performance, maneuverability, comfort, and luxury.
Those who want to live aboard — with comfortable internal spaces, 2 or 3 cabins, kitchen, lounge, bathroom, and also significant outdoor relaxation areas.
Those who love versatility & modularity: vacations, weekends, day trips, water sports (jet-ski, tender), coastal or longer cruises.
A discerning audience regarding design, finishes, aesthetics — it is clearly a boat designed as a modern yacht, not just a simple outboard.
An excellent balance between performance & comfort: planing hull + IPS + yacht finish — rare at this size level.
Versatility of use: fast navigation, cruising, open rear beach, tender/jet-ski, life onboard … a true "jack-of-all-trades" boat.
High-end interior and exterior layout: meticulous finish, noble materials, ergonomics designed for well-being.
Modularity & adaptability: different configurations (2 or 3 cabins), standard version or Alpine edition, options according to needs.
Modern onboard technology (Ship Control, Volvo IPS propulsion, modular comfort): facilitated navigation, comfort & safety.
