The houseboat has a large master bedroom with shower and toilet and a separate space (nook) next to it with a bunk bed, a spacious living area with open kitchen and pellet stove, and a large roof terrace with a beautiful staircase leading up. The boat is delivered including high-quality furnishings as you can see in the photos, ready to use. Almost all large windows are sliding doors and can be opened.

Surla Houseboats are designed as off-grid, sustainable and very comfortable houseboats. The boat is built in the Netherlands, finished by the renowned houseboat builder Gielissen Shipyard in Helmond.

With this Surla, you can (self-sufficient) sail (no boating license required) so you can enjoy your freedom and the beautiful nature everywhere without often needing shore power or water. Easily navigable due to its dimensions and safe walkways around the boat.

The base consists of a frame of galvanized steel. Equipped with catamaran drives (HDPE) and with a bilge where many items can be stored. (8 meters by 2 meters and 1 meter deep) The houseboat has a living area of over 35 m² and features a spacious roof terrace.

There is ample use of natural materials. This makes the design with a lot of wood fit beautifully into nature.

Sustainability and self-sufficiency are achieved among other things by:

• Water maker that filters water from nature into drinking water.
• The wastewater (gray) is processed via the IBA system with three compartments, the first for fat separation and soap residues, the 2nd tank is aerated with 600L of air per hour, together with bacteria this ensures cleaning. The 3rd tank filters out all residues and discharges the water clean into the surface water. This process is completely biological and requires limited maintenance
• 4 solar panels of 400 watts each with Victron Multiplus inverter
• Lithium battery pack
• Pellet stove

From the living room with luxury open kitchen, you have a beautiful view over the water outside. With sliding doors on all sides of the living area. Around the houseboat, there is a walkway of about 50 cm wide. At the front, a terrace of 13 m², at the back there is a staircase to the roof terrace.
