Interior

Saxdor 320 GTC changes the game of movement on board. With its unique concept of a full beam spacious wheelhouse with easy access to the walk-around bow, movement onboard has never been this easy. Saxdor believes in the luxury of unused space.

 With a large and spacious wheelhouse people can easily walk through the wide corridor while you can prepare delicious servings and drinks for your family and friends at the same time. Silence is golden – the wheelhouse can be sound isolated with a floating floor, especially developed for the Saxdor 320 GTC model.

A great-sized wetbar is the heart of the cabin. A full-size wet bar, freshwater system, and a comfortable dining arrangement. This is where the magic happens.

A sanitary corner with a toilet and an additional sink also fits in to make your mornings onboard hassle-free.

World-Class Design Team

Saxdor Design team that is led by Sakari Mattila, includes designers, naval architects, engineers and the Shipyard’s R&D team. Every design decision must be evaluated carefully in every stage of the process - what is the effect to the serial production. Co-operation with Production and Design team during the process is essential.

Saxdor Design team works closely with VOM-creations’ design team - uniting new design features and technologies to improve the boating experience of customers worldwide.

Design

We didn’t enter the market to follow the pack, but to show everyone a completely new approach to the use of space. Innovative boat design, where every square inch has a purpose, is our way to make a statement. Saxdor boats make heads turn and people talk – get comfortable with the attention.

Performance

Saxdor’s signature hull always takes the center stage in the design process. The two stepped deep V-hull effortlessly knives the waves and performs well in choppy conditions. The smart hull also improves fuel efficiency, which is one of the crucial elements of Saxdor’s concept thinking.

Results on the Water

The Saxdor 320 GTC is with the same refined, economic and performance-oriented hull design as 270 GTO, 340 GTWA & 400 GTC. A low center of gravity, low weight, sharp entry,  twin stepped and vacuum-infused hull creates a unique driving experience in all kinds of seas and weathers across the world.

Saxdor Yachts is a privately owned Finnish premium boat producer with head office located in Helsinki. Her daughter company Saxdor Shipyard is located in Elk, Poland. The team behind the brand is experienced and award-winning Sakari Mattila, the founder of Saxdor, has also founded Aquador, Paragon, XO boats and Axopar.

The demand on our boats has been strong from the beginning and Saxdor is one of the fastest growing boat companies in Europe. Since 2019 Saxdor has produced over 1000 boats. With new shipyard, we are able to speed up the production significantly. Today, Saxdor employs almost 500 people in Finland and Poland.

Saxdor 320 GTO and Saxdor 270 GTO are the WINNERS of the Motorboat award. The award is judged purely  on the boats’ design, ability and value for money.

Saxdor 200 is the WINNER of the Best of Boat award. The expert jury from 15 nations has decided upon the very best motorboats of the year.

Saxdor 200 is also the WINNER of the European Powerboat of the Year. The criteria are workmanship, safety, driving behavior, design, distribution of space, and price-performance ratio.

Stepped Hull Design

A double-step hull design offers benefits like increased speed, improved fuel efficiency, and better handling in rough water. 

To achieve this Saxdor shapes tunnels into the hull at the waterline positioned at two strategic points. One step midship for slower cruising speeds and another at the aft third of the hull for higher planing speeds. These steps allow air to rush in under the hull. That air, or bubbles, reduce the wetted surface friction of the hull as she rides through the water. This reduction of drag allows the boat to lift more effectively at higher speeds. This also helps maintain a more consistent trim angle, leading to better overall performance for speed and fuel efficiency.

The result produces the following benefits:

• Reduced Drag:The steps separate the boat from the water, reducing the wetted surface area and thus minimizing friction drag.
  
• Improved Lift:The stepped design creates multiple planing surfaces that increase lift and help the boat rise onto the plane more efficiently.
  
• Better Trim:The steps can help maintain a consistent trim angle, especially in rough water, making the boat easier to control.
  
• Increased Speed:By reducing drag and increasing lift, stepped hulls can achieve higher top speeds and maintain those speeds more efficiently.
  
• Fuel Efficiency:The reduced drag and increased efficiency of a stepped hull can lead to better fuel economy, especially at higher speeds.
  
• Smoother Ride:While the steps can cause the boat to "hop" more, they also reduce the amount of water the boat is in contact with, potentially leading to a smoother ride in choppy conditions.
