Description
“Robin’s Nest” is one of the highest-optioned VQ45s ever built. Dutch craftsmanship and an all-aluminum welded hull construction make for a sport yacht that is truly overbuilt.
The quad Mercury V10 600HP outboards provide excessive performance, hole shot, and a top speed of over 60 knots. The joystick (with skyhook) and bow thruster make maneuvering in tight spaces effortless, while the SeaKeeper 6 and ZipWake automatic interceptor tabs add stability both at speed and rest.
The layout is versatile — comfortable seating everywhere, full walk-around side decks, a custom hard top with 3-side glass enclosed and air conditioned helm to stay dry and comfortable in inclimate weather, and a spacious cabin with separate head and shower to overnight.
The owner spared no expenses on the electronics: a full Garmin package, premium JL Audio System, FLIR thermal camera, etc.
AC/DC power is facilitated by both a Northern Lights diesel generator and an extensive Victron Energy suite, which includes an Inverter for AC power without the generator. All of this is controlled via the latest EmpirBus technology.
