Surla Houseboats are designed as off-grid, sustainable, and very comfortable houseboats. The boat is built in the Netherlands. The mentioned price is for a fully navigable ship with many options.
With this Surla, you can (self-sufficiently) sail (no boating license required) so you can enjoy your freedom and the beautiful nature everywhere without often needing shore power or water.

There is surprisingly much space and comfort on this houseboat. Due to the smart layout, spacious construction, large sliding doors, and nice outdoor space including a large roof terrace. The facade cladding all around is made of plastic.

The base consists of a frame of galvanized steel. Equipped with catamaran drives (HDPE) and with a basement where many items can be stored. The houseboat has a living area of over 51 m² and features a spacious roof terrace of 24 m².

There has been ample use of natural materials. This makes the design with a lot of wood fit beautifully into nature, as you can see in the photos.

Sustainability and self-sufficiency are achieved, among other things, by:

• Water maker that filters water from nature into drinking water.
• The toilet is a dry toilet and nothing harmful is discharged into nature.
• The wastewater is processed via the IBA system with three compartments, the first for fat separation and soap residues, the 2nd tank is aerated with 600L of air per hour, together with bacteria this ensures cleaning. The 3rd tank filters out all residues and discharges the water clean into the surface water. This process is completely biological and requires limited maintenance.
• 12 solar panels of 400 watts each with Victron Multiplus inverter.
• 8 kW peak power battery pack.
• Pellet stove.

Surla Tender can also be purchased upon request. Price on request. If you want to rent out the boat, the Tender must be purchased to transport customers to and from their boat.

The houseboat is sustainable in both construction and use: Only sustainable materials have been used in the construction and manufactured with the most advanced techniques. In nice sunny weather, it is possible to recreate on the water without using utilities from April to October. Connection to electricity or clean drinking water is therefore not necessary.

From the living room with open kitchen, you have a beautiful view over the water outside through three large sliding doors. Around the houseboat, there is a walkway of about 50 cm wide. At the front, a terrace of 14 m², at the back there is a staircase to the roof terrace. The open kitchen is fully equipped and is part of the living area with a beautiful unobstructed view.
