An introduction… 

The Windy 37 Shamal is a high-performance sports boat designed in collaboration with renowned superyacht designer and naval architect Espen Øino, drawing inspiration from Windy's Scandinavian heritage. 

Lady Zara offers an exhilarating performance combined with smart functionality, featuring two berths, a head, and a spacious, sociable cockpit, ideal for Mediterranean day boating and weekend cruising. She is hull number 6, launched at the end of 2020, and has been wintered ashore under cover each year. From new, she has benefited from a full guardiennage programme, ensuring excellent ongoing maintenance. 

Presented with a comprehensive Mediterranean specification, Lady Zara is fitted with the largest engines available for this model, twin Volvo Penta D6 440 diesels. Delivering outstanding performance and economy, she reaches a top speed of approximately 46 knots, depending on conditions. Volvo’s Joystick docking system, together with a bow thruster, makes close quarters effortless. The Power Trim Assist and Humphree interceptor system automatically manage trim for maximum efficiency and comfort underway.

The helm station is thoughtfully designed for confident control and features an upgraded Raymarine XL16 Glass Bridge chart plotter, fully integrated with the engines. Entertainment is provided by a Fusion Apollo MS RA770 stereo system, featuring Bluetooth, DAB, four cockpit speakers, and an additional panel speaker in the cabin. Further upgrades include air conditioning, a generator, electric windlass, and more. 

The open cockpit is finished with teak decking and subtle mood lighting. A generous aft sun pad with adjustable backrest, a large U-shaped seating area, and a custom electric-rise table that converts to extend the sun pad create the perfect space for relaxing or entertaining. The upgraded wet bar includes an induction hob and fridge for added convenience. Overhead, the clever dever canopy system features folding support bars, allowing for quick transformation between a bimini sunshade and a fully enclosed camper canopy. The bathing platform is also teak finished and equipped with a swim ladder and shower.
