The all-new Cutwater 242 Sport Coupe (C-242 SC) is the open version of our popular Cutwater
242 Coupe. Speed, comfort, value, and FUN all combine for a boat ownership experience of a
lifetime. Whether you’re new to boating, looking for the perfect fishing machine, or enjoying
water-sports with the family, the Cutwater 242 Sport Coupe will fit the bill.
The C-242 SC is named for its open, airy design that truly brings the outside in. The roof,
side windows, and rear bulkhead all open with removable enclosures that are perfect for
keeping you close to the action. The forward cabin features wrap around seating and a high/
low table that drops to complete the forward berth. The C-242 SC provides all the comforts
of home with a private head, two sinks with hot and cold water, drop-in bbq grill, microwave,
and TV/DVD combo. The six-speaker Fusion entertainment system comes complete with
sub-woofer, Bluetooth connectivity, radio, and aux input. The C-242 SC is also available with
optional generator and air conditioning. If fishing is your game, you’ll be excited to hear that
the outboard-powered C-242 Sport Coupe comes standard with a 2,000W PSW inverter, live
well, fish box, and sink integrated into the transom. Four rod holders are also standard on the
Cutwater 242 SC.
Powered by a Yamaha 300 HP outboard, the
C-242 SC is fast and efficient. The advanced hull design of the Cutwater 242 SC incorporates
a complex combination of a 24° deep-V hull for a smooth ride, an 11° keel pad for planing
stability, and reversed chines for quick planing, and reduced cornering roll. The double-stepped
hull increases efficiency and performance, reducing fuel consumption and contributes to her
quick time to plane. The C-242 SC hull also incorporates our patented Laminar Flow Interrupter
technology for smooth, positive cornering.
