Description
Sturdy and luxurious cruiser built by Elling Shipbuilding BV in Aalst (The Netherlands). The yard has earned an international reputation for building very seaworthy and safe motor yachts. In perticular the legendary Atlantic crossing and a successful 180° capsize test reated a lot of attention. Elling yachts are engineered to handle the harshest offshore conditions, much like professional rescue vessels. Their modern hull design, a low center of gravity an last but not least their extremely robust construction make them rock-solid, reliable boats. Kevlar fibre reinforcements in the bow sections of the hull laminate provides additional protection in case of impact. The Elling E3 Ultimate features an electric folding antenna arch (very low air draft of approx. 3,45 m), ideal for inland and coastal cruising. With a semi-displacement hull and powerful 435 hp VOLVO PENTA six-cylinder diesel engine, the Elling E3 reaches a top speed of up to 16 knots. At economical cruising speed of 7 knots, fuel consumption is around 1 liter per nautical mile only, providing a range of roughly 1.500 nautical miles thanks to the generous 1.500-liter diesel tank. Excellent engine room insulation and a flexible AQUADRIVE shaft coupling keep engine noise to an absolute minimum, ensuring a quiet and comfortable ride.
