Updates/Upgrades

“Have Another” – Maintained with an Open Checkbook and Pride of Ownership

Every effort has been made to ensure “Have Another” remains in peak cosmetic and mechanical condition. Below is a carefully maintained and updated list of key upgrades and improvements completed under the current ownership:

Mechanical & Systems Upgrades

• AC Chiller System: Main chiller unit for the engine room replaced new in 2022, ensuring optimal cooling performance.

• Volvo Pod Drives: Both port and starboard pods received new main shafts and seals, significantly enhancing reliability.

• Generator Refresh: A new starter and battery were installed in May 2025 for trouble-free operation.

• Black Water Tank: Replaced for the third time in April 2025, reflecting a commitment to preventative maintenance.

• Electrical Protection: The boat was fully bonded and fitted with a $3,000 surge protection system in 2021 to guard against shore power issues. Additional bonding for the engine room and swim platform was completed in March 2025.

Structural & Functional Enhancements

• Swim Platform Overhaul:

  • Hydraulic unit, hoses, and locking cylinders replaced.

  • Main cylinders fully rebuilt in March 2025.

  • Teak panels (10" x 35") replaced, with all other teak restored and finished in a urethane non-skid coating (Gleam) — safe, durable, and comfortable underfoot.

• Bottom Paint & Prop Speed: Completed in March 2025, providing excellent underwater protection and performance.

Interior & Exterior Refinements

• Salon & Helm Trim: Reconditioned throughout to remove sticky finishes — bringing back a clean, refined look and feel.

• Window Treatments & Upholstery:

  • Exterior curtains, salon cushions, and sunshade custom-made and installed in March 2025.

  • Bow lounge cushions refreshed and bimini top canvas restitched in December 2024.

Navigation & Electronics

• Simrad System:

  • Two of the three helm displays upgraded to Evo3 units for improved performance.

  • The third remains in place for video and radar use only.

Entertainment & Amenities

• Kenyon Grill: Swim platform cook station fully replaced — ready for onboard entertaining.
