Sunseeker Portofino 53

“ALCHEMIST” is a fantastic example of how and why Sunseeker became the leading boat builders and designers within the UK. She testament to how well the boats of this year were built, to last and perform in all sorts of weather conditions, versatile for the sun of the Mediterranean or happy on the South coast of the UK. She has had numerous improvement over the past years including new aft canvas cockpit canopy, seating replaced within the cockpit. She is finished in the optional extra Satin Walnut interior and offers sleeping accommodation for up to 6 within 3 separate cabins. She has the benefit of the MK II hard top with opening sunroof and top of the range 800 hp R6 MAN engines on direct shaft drives pushing her in excess of 30 Kts. The inventory comprises of a full Med spec including reverse cycle air conditioning/ heating throughout the accommodation and generator, bow thruster and fully functioning wet-bar with BBQ. 

In July 2025 "ALCHEMIST" benefitted by having a dual engine overhaul performed by MAN certified engineers at the Sunseeker Group official facility. All works to the vessel were conducted by Sunseeker London Group. Whilst both engines were removed the owner took the opportunity  to have them professionally repainted, fully tested, recommissioned, and endorsed by MAN UK here in Poole.  All invoices, endorsements and details are available upon request. The engine room while open, benefited from a deep clean and any necessary remedial work was completed by Sunseeker London Group including the removal and clean of the freshwater tank. Antifouling and hull polishing has also been completed this year, so indeed represents a beautiful example of this ever-popular model ready to use for extensive cruising for many years to come.

The Portofino 53 “ALCHEMIST” is exceptionally manoeuvrable and offers superb efficiency of performance. She boosts ample seating and storage within the cockpit with sunbathing space above the tender garage, this is the perfect space to keep either a Williams Jet rib or tender of choice safe and secure and out of the weather.  Full launch and recover Williams system is also installed with some additional room for perhaps a couple of deflated paddle boards.
