Description
The answer of the Americans to Riva in 1874. This timeless classic of top quality is a rare sight in Europe. If you don't like thumbs up and compliments, this is the wrong boat for you.
Unlike almost all sports boats in this class, this is a FRESHWATER BOAT!. You can see that in everything. No rusted metal parts in the engine room or on deck. From 2015 to the present, the boat has been refitted and you can see that immediately.
New Volvo Penta V8-430 gasoline engines and Z-drives have been installed, and they have not yet run for 150 hours.
The teak deck has been renovated, the hull painted, extra polished stainless steel 316 cleats installed, new upholstery in Bentley style, new cockpit tent and bimini (when folded, it disappears into the engine room), new Raymarine display with chart plotter and engine management, etc.
The top speed is around 45 knots (85 km/h) and that is very fast for a boat of this size.
Some people may wonder why gasoline engines were chosen instead of diesel. The answer is simple; ever seen a Corvette or Ferrari refueling with diesel? There are CC 36's with diesel, but you can sail circles around those ;-).
The sailing characteristics of this beauty are sublime and instill a lot of confidence in the crew. You always feel safe on board.
