The Carver 444 Cockpit Motor Yacht combines the superb luxury and spaciousness of an aft cabin with exceptional contemporary styling and thoughtful design. Carver's signature raised walkdeck design also allows for a wider, much roomier cabin than other yachts this size. Combined with the way Carver united the salon and galley into one spacious and elegant "great room", this adds up to outstanding cruising comfort. The expansive great room features all sorts of amenities, from the sumptuous designer decor and UltraLeather sofa, to the beautiful yet practical solid-surface countertops. When it comes to sleeping accommodations, owners will welcome the unexpected luxury of two private staterooms, each with its own private head compartment. On the bridge, passengers can relax with the L-shaped lounge that seats five and the wetbar that provides convenient bottle storage. The elegant aft deck offers a hardtop that covers the entire deck, plus an electronics arch, and the convenience of an integral bridge stairway and wing doors. For even more fun, the large cockpit offers plenty of space to play.

The Carver 444 is a cockpit version of Carver’s popular 396 Motor Yacht with the same interior, additional fuel, and the versatility of a 60-square-foot cockpit. She’s also a better looking boat than the ungainly 396, at least in our opinion. On the inside the 444 is a stunning display of interior volume unmatched in a boat this size. The salon—easily the most impressive aspect of the boat—is immense with a panoramic outside view and almost seven feet of headroom. The full-beam salon was created by raising the side decks to eye level, which is why the boat appears to have so much free-board. The two-stateroom, galley-down floor-plan is arranged with double berths and separate stall showers fore and aft. Note that hanging locker space is sparse. Topside, wing doors and a hardtop protect the aft deck, and there’s plenty of fly-bridge seating. The cockpit is a great swimming and diving platform while also providing an easy place to board. Interestingly, the extra waterline length of the 444 Cockpit MY gives her a little more speed than the 396 MY.
