The Sea Ray 480 Motor Yacht features quiet, twin 519-horsepower Cummins engines providing a stealthy departure (no wake, of course). For entertaining, the large aft deck has a wetbar with an icemaker, as well as a Clarion AM/FM CD with six-disc changer, four speakers, and a remote control. A fiberglass hardtop protects passengers from the elements, and textured steps lead to the swim platform with concealed stainless steel three-step ladder. The walkways leading to the foredeck are wide and textured for safe passage, and a cushion turns the area into a large sunpad. Down below, a full-size bed with innerspring mattress is the focal point of the forward stateroom. A portside storage cabinet with drawers, and a starboard full-length hanging locker with lights and beveled mirrors, provide storage. There?s also a 13-inch TV / VCR / radio combo, as well as private access to the main head compartment. Two acquaintances can stay quite comfortably in the twin berths of the guest stateroom. Filler cushions will convert the berths into a king-size bed. The forward head compartment features a VacuFlush head, a solid-surface vanity countertop with sink, a Grohe faucet, and a shower with seat, adjustable shower wand, and removable teak grate. The aft master stateroom features a queen-size bed, a full-length cedar-lined hanging locker, a built-in nightstand, a large built-in storage unit with storage shelves and drawers, as well as a 20-inch TV / VCR / radio combo. The starboard vanity with sink and plenty of storage, separates the private head with VacuFlush toilet from the private shower with seat and adjustable shower wand. The galley of the 480 Motor Yacht makes wonderful use of space with a custom molded fiberglass countertop, sink with Grohe faucet, recessed three-burner stove, microwave / convection oven, coffeemaker, and a refrigerator / freezer. A washer / dryer combo is located in the step storage compartment.

Walk Around

The 480 feels much bigger than its 48 feet. Enter vessel from the air conditioned enclosed helm area and aft deck to a social platform that is great for entertaining or family cruises. The helm is just forward and very much part of the action aft. Side decks to bow and sun area are large and safe.

Down three steps to a large salon with crescent shaped sofa and love seat opposite. Forward is galley and dinette, head with stall shower, guest stateroom with side by side bunks with filler to make king.

The VIP stateroom is forward with walk-around full sized bed. Master is aft full beam with queen sized bed, closets, drawers and storage. A vanity with sink, separate Vacuflush head and separate stall shower.

Salon:   The salon and the entire interior feature high gloss cherry cabinetry. The salon settees are upholstered in an off-white ultra leather material. Curtains cover the side windows.   Galley:   Located on the port side it is opposite the dinette. It is open to the salon and it provides a very cheerful atmosphere.

The dinette is on the starboard side. There is quite a bit of storage below the seat cushions.

Master Stateroom:   The master suite is aft for privacy and impressive in size and amenities. There are ample hanging wardrobes and locker storage. On the starboard side is a separate shower and separate enclosed Head. Entertainment equipment includes a television bult in.  

VIP Suite:   Located forward in the bow is the VIP suite and it is impressive. There is good hanging wardrobe storage and plenty of storage. The center line, easy access, queen berth is very comfortable.   

Guest Stateroom:   On the starboard side is a twin berth cabin. There is a center cushion to convert the beds into a double berth.
