Description

"Innovation and longevity are the key elements to the success of the Grand Banks 46 Classic"

“Adagio” (Hull #236) is a proven veteran of multiple long range voyages and Pacific adventures. Over the years, her three knowledgeable owners have each contributed their expertise, adding thoughtful upgrades that enhance both reliability and comfort. The result is a well-equipped and beautifully maintained example of the Grand Banks 46 Classic.

To put her rarity into perspective: only 299 Grand Banks 46s were produced across all configurations (Classic, Europa, and Motoryacht) during a 22-year production run. Of these, approximately 200 were built as Classics. By the year 2000, shifting market preferences leaned toward the Europa design, making “Adagio” one of the final ten 46 Classics ever constructed.

If you’re searching for one of the newest and finest Grand Banks 46 Classics available, “Adagio” is a standout candidate with factory installed Wesmar Stabilizers & bow thruster—an exceptional opportunity to own a late-model Classic with pedigree, upgrades, and proven cruising credentials.

Overview

"Adagio" reflects all the hallmarks of a Grand Banks—robust construction, timeless craftsmanship, and the renowned sea-kindly hull that has made the brand legendary. Wide, secure walk-around decks provide easy access to the side doors or up to the flybridge, while recently sealed teak decks are in excellent condition and add to her classic appeal.

This is the desirable two-stateroom, down-galley layout, featuring a spacious owner’s cabin aft and a comfortable guest cabin forward—each with its own private head and shower. The arrangement offers exceptional privacy for all aboard, while the salon and galley, positioned midships, create a welcoming central gathering space that maximizes both comfort and functionality. Perfectly designed for entertaining or relaxed cruising, Adagio is equally suited to extended passages or leisurely days on the water.

Accomodations

The accommodations are arranged in two spacious cabins at opposite ends of the yacht—an aft owner’s stateroom and a forward cabin for family or guests—each with its own private head and shower. This time-tested Classic configuration is celebrated for the privacy and convenience it provides, creating an ideal balance for extended bluewater passages, relaxed coastal cruising, family weekends, or memorable entertaining at the dock.
