Description
A contemporary family cruiser from an American builder, the Bayliner 3488 boast a modern flying bridge with molded fiberglass stairs leading up to it, two spacious staterooms, and a head with stall shower. Perfect for overnighters with the kids, or as a comfortable day cruiser, this vessel has been well maintained and lightly used for her entire existence. Accommodations
A perfect family or couples' boat, the 3488 has a comfortable salon with great visibility and opening ports port and starboard, a full lower helm, L-shaped settee with hi-lo table, and an L-shape galley with sink, microwave, and cooktop, and good galley stowage for her size.
Down below and forward, there is a comfortable master in the bow, with plenty of ventilation through an opening hatch and portlights, ample built-in drawer and locker stowage, twin reading lights, a built-in seat, and pleasing fabrics on the bulkheads and bunk.
Continuing aft, there is a second stateroom with large berth to starboard. This berth tucks under the salon above and offers a great area for kids or a second couple. There is an opening port and large hanging locker.
Opposite the second stateroom is the head with stall shower, electric head, opening portlight, and vanity stowage.
The truly standout feature of the 3488 is the wonderful flying bridge! In this case, we have a full enclosure so it is comfortable no matter what the weather. Plenty of seating and a molded ladder up, gives the area the feel of a much larger boat. Down on deck level, the cockpit is suitable for fishing, grilling, or getting off and on a dock or tender.
