Description
LITTLE DIPPER is a USCG inspected vessel with an in the water safety inspection every year and an out of the water hull inspection every other year. Â The EPIRBs and Life Rafts are inspected yearly as are the hydrostatic releases. Â The boat is equipped for winter work with heated windshields, Espar diesel block heater, and 5 duct hot water cabin heat. Â It has a lead line to the bow and a SS bow rail for winter safe mooring tie up.Â
This is a broad beamed heavy powerful boat. Â It has all SS deck hardware, 4 Freeman water tight deck hatches, and an open transom with removable drop boards. Â It has a canvas shelter w/seating aft with SS pipe frame, Stamoid cover, and Strataglas windows. Â There is seating and life raft room for 13 COI passengers and 2 crew.
Engine/Mechanical
2000 CUMMINS QSM 11, 580hp, with total rebuild in 2020 @ 10,416 hrs. Currently 1644hr on that new rebuild

Both the motor and the transmission were totally rebuilt in 2020. Â The motor was rebuilt by Red Line Machine Shop and had new sleeves, pistons, rings, crank, cam, bearings, injectors, complete. Â The transmission was rebuilt by a ZF dealer with all new gears, bearings, clutches, seals, complete. Â The boat currently has 1644hr on that rebuild.
