The Carver 456 Aft Cabin was one of the roomier aft-cabin designs her size during the late 1990s. As such, she appealed to a cross section of cruising families looking for as much boat as possible for the money. Like most of Carver’s motor yacht models, she rides on a modified-V hull with a relatively wide beam and cored hull-sides. Additional features include a tub/shower in the forward head, a good-sized engine room, wide side decks, staircase-style boarding steps and side exhausts.

The Carver 456 Motor Yacht has a three-stateroom floor plan that provides sleeping accommodations for up to eight, while the available two-stateroom layout offers increased living area, with the added flexibility of a moveable dinette and Flexsteel furniture. Owners may choose either floor plan and enjoy the comfort of a master stateroom aft, complete with an inner-spring, queen-sized island berth, and private head compartment. Forward, a private guest suite also features a queen-sized island berth, and private access to the forward head compartment. For the chef, the 456's unique galley design offers a full complement of appliances, and convenient access from both topside and below. Topside, the 456's integral transom staircase and stainless steel handrail make boarding easy. And, the large integral transom locker provides plenty of stowage for mooring lines or swim gear. Choose the available aft deck and bridge hardtops with enclosures, wing doors, or air conditioning, and cruising Carver's 456 Motor Yacht is sure to be a pleasure.
