Description
The Carver 445 Aft Cabin Motor Yacht blends quality materials, structural integrity, and superior craftsmanship into this popular yacht. "Irish Hurricane" has completed two Great Loops plus cruised from Lake Superior to Montreal and throughout New England. Her current owners have traveled aboard for up to 11 months at a time. Since November 2023 she has been in a covered slip or moored north of Virginia. Vessel, machinery, and running gear have been carefully maintained to ensure longevity. The 445’s modified vee hull provides stability on the water or dockside and allows the vessel to operate off or on plane. Walkaround main deck offers secure movement; swim platform affords easy boarding. The vessel is great for weekend cruising, dockside living, and entertaining. A hard-top, Isinglass enclosed sun deck has ample room for patio furniture; sundeck isinglass includes zip-in mosquito screening and separate drapes that offer full or partial privacy when drawn. Swim platform has hot/cold freshwater shower and sturdy 4-rung swim ladder. Weaver davit system with additional block and tackle offers ease of launch/ recovery. Foredeck has sunning pad. Purchase includes 2 new beanbag chairs. Flybridge has bench seating forward and a second bench adjacent to the swivel helm chair. Hard top aft of flybridge is features non-skid deck for safety. Main salon includes Stressless recliner, rocker recliner, makeshift couch that folds into twin bed, and a computer workstation; Starlink provides connectivity 24/7. Salon HDTV can be mounted above or below countertop. Vessel (excluding bridge) is wired for Bose surround sound. Galley down has full-sized appliances and is within easy reach of dinette and apartment-sized washer/dryer. Open concept salon facilitates galley/salon conversation. Forward berth sleeps three (double berth with upper bunk), has full-length closet and full head with stall shower. Dinette seats six and sleeps two (with table down). Aft cabin has walk-around queen bed, lighted vanity, large closets and built-in drawers; and full head with stall shower. Salon windows have UV-block tint. Windows throughout are equipped with external snap-on UV-block Pfifertex screening. Forward salon windows have snap-on blackout cover.
