Accomodations

The Manhattan 48 is remarkably equipped with three separate sleeping cabins and two full heads, maximizing overnight capacity.

1. Master Stateroom (Forward): Located in the bow for maximum privacy. This cabin is the most luxurious, featuring a centerline island queen berth for easy access from both sides. It includes significant storage with cedar-lined hanging lockers and drawers.

   • En Suite Head: The master cabin enjoys a private head with a vanity, an electric marine toilet,  and, critically, a separate stall shower.

2. Step down Port Guest Cabin: This midship cabin typically features one large berth and a large closet.

3.  Starboard Quest Cabin with convertible twin berths that will glide together to form a full-size 

• Day Head/Guest Head: The main or day head is accessed from the lower companionway and often serves the two guest cabins. Like the master head, it includes a separate stall shower.

The Exterior Deck

Our tour begins at the stern. The Manhattan 48 features a large swim platform—perfect for watersports, sunbathing, or simply dipping your toes in the water.  a swim ladder and a freshwater shower here.

: A transom door provides effortless access into the main cockpit. This area serves as a primary gathering space, typically featuring a large, integrated seating bench across the transom and a teak or faux-teak deck. There is ample storage beneath the seating and within the lazarette, and this space often provides access to the engine room below.

Side Decks and Foredeck

Moving forward, you'll note the wide, secure side decks protected by sturdy stainless steel railings. These allow safe and easy access to the bow, a key feature for lines handling or just enjoying the view.

• Foredeck: The bow area is a dedicated relaxation zone, featuring a large sunpad for lounging while at anchor or underway. The electric windlass and anchor setup are neatly concealed or situated to maximize space.
