Description
"Easy Goin'" is a fine example of the Egg Harbor 35 Sport Yacht. She stands among the rare convertibles of her size constructed in recent decades. This vessel represents a striking, expertly crafted design that exemplifies the enduring reputation the Egg Harbor name has earned among boating aficionados.
Having resided in the Great Lakes until 2003, she has lived a pampered life in Newport Beach ever since.
Used exclusively as a cruising yacht until the current owner purchased her in 2011, she was then outfitted to fish the local waters off Newport Beach, CA.
She's been the perfect platform for family trips to Catalina and many memorable offshore fishing adventures.
With wide side-decks and outfitted with a dinghy davit on the foredeck and a custom West Coast Style bow rail, "Easy Goin'" offers both convenience and safety for those headed up to the bow area. Custom stainless steel tuna tubes also adorn the bow rail for those of you interested in live-baiting marlin or swordfish.
Launched in 1996, she features a solid fiberglass modified-V hull with an 8-degree transom deadrise and a practical 13-foot, 2-inch beam. This provides a very stable platform while underway and at rest.
Throughout the 35 Sport Yachts production run, buyers could select between two interior configurations: a two-stateroom design with an elevated galley, or a single-stateroom arrangement with the galley below.
"Easy Goin'" features the preferred galley up, two-stateroom configuration. Both layouts feature a spacious forward stateroom with an island berth and ample storage.
This is a superbly maintained sportfisher that has been expertly outfitted. The current family has enjoyed many years of angling and relaxing at Catalina Island and has moved on to a larger vessel. This is a fantastic opportunity for a family looking for a low-time, mid-sized sportfisher.
