The Kraaijer Kotter 14.00 AK “Neptunus” is an exceptionally well-maintained and technically advanced steel cutter for water sports enthusiasts who want to explore Europe carefree and independently. This ship from 1994 has been modernized at a professional level in recent years, with reliability, safety, and comfort at the forefront.
Robust hull & proven build quality
This Kraaijer is known for its solid construction and sailing characteristics. The hull is made of 6 mm steel to the bilge and 5 mm above, with stainless steel used in vulnerable places. With a weight of approximately 25 tons (full tanks) and a draft of 1.45 meters, the ship is extremely stable, even on larger waters.
The underwater hull has been completely stripped and rebuilt with a high-quality epoxy coating system, followed by antifouling. The hull is painted in a sleek matte black and is in excellent condition.
Reliable propulsion & technology
The cutter is powered by a DAF 825 – 6 cylinder diesel engine (158 HP), an engine with a strong reputation for long distances. The engine has been demonstrably maintained, technically inspected, and equipped with, among other things, overhauled injectors, new thermostats, and renewed sensors.
Additionally, the ship has a Paguro generator (3500 W continuous), allowing for full autonomy — ideal for anchoring or longer stays on board.

Thanks to the impressive energy and tank capacity, this Kraaijer is extremely suitable for long stays on board:

There are two electric toilets, including a new Tecma toilet in the aft cabin (2024). The interior has been recently painted, fitted with new pleated curtains, and the wheelhouse has a new oak floor (2025).
