The condition inspection was carried out covering the following areas and following the usual procedures in this type of assessment: 1- BRIEF DESCRIPTION AND IDENTIFICATION CHARACTERISTICS - CONDITION OF THE HULL AND STRUCTURAL REINFORCEMENT ELEMENTS 3- DECK 4- ANCHORING EQUIPMENT 5- PROPULSION ENGINE
6- NAVIGATION AND COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT 7- SAFETY AND FIRE-FIGHTING EQUIPMENT 8- ACCOMMODATION 1- BRIEF DESCRIPTION AND IDENTIFICATION CHARACTERISTICS This is a vessel with a fiberglass reinforced polyester hull and powered by an inboard engine. The vessel meets the following identification characteristics: Name “MISTIC” Type/Model SEA RAY 290 DA Registration 7ªMH-1-10-15 Identification number 191410 Builder SEA RAY Year of construction 1993 Length 8.65 m. Beam 2.74 m. T.R.B. 7.74 2- CONDITION OF THE HULL AND STRUCTURAL REINFORCEMENT ELEMENTS The hull covering, underwater, showed satisfactory condition, as did the reinforcement elements visible. We do not know the condition of the hull covering above the waterline, although it could be evidenced at the water surface level.
The structural reinforcement elements, visible, exhibited satisfactory condition.
3- DECK The deck and cockpit showed satisfactory condition. The front windshield, made of acrylic, is in good condition.
4- ANCHORING EQUIPMENT The anchoring line guide was found to be in good condition. It has an anchor windlass with stainless steel chain and a 7.5kg galvanized anchor.
5- PROPULSION ENGINE “MISTIC” is powered by TWO INBOARD engines from VOLVO PENTA, model 4.3 gxi injection, power 225HP Re-engined in 2015 with VOLVO PENTA SX drives.
6- NAVIGATION AND COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT VHF equipment and magnetic compass. Lowrance GPS, stabilizer flaps.
7- SAFETY AND FIRE-FIGHTING EQUIPMENT All material is within expiration date.
8- ACCOMMODATION Bow and stern cabin, salon with electric toilet and black water tank, pump and fresh water tank, stainless steel solar awning with solar panel, teak bathing platform, anchoring tarp, new upholstery, sunbathing area in the bow, 220v battery charger, bilge pumps, 12v refrigerator.
